Jeep/Bus Safari

Welcome to this short tour from Diani, Mombasa or the North Coast. This tour is designed for travelers on beach holidays who would like to experience a luxury wildlife safari. The tour takes you to Taita Conservancy, which is rich in wildlife and has accommodations at the amazing Salt Lick Lodge. The lodge overlooks a waterhole where animals come regularly to drink. The tour is the best way to fit in between a beach holiday.

Day 1: Diani to Taita Conservancy
You will be picked up from your beach hotel in the early morning and depart by road to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. You will enjoy an amazing game drive along the way. Upon arrival at Taita Hills Lodge, you will have lunch, relax for a while and then head out for a game drive in the sanctuary, searching for lions and other wildlife until sunset.
You will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. This lodge is especially memorable for its imaginative structure. A complex of rondavels sits on stilts over a series of waterholes. These two-story towers, topped by peaked thatch roofs connected by open-air bridges, create an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. The lodge has been built with game viewing in mind. The structure provides a panoramic view of the sanctuary, offering spectacular views of the landscape and wildlife.
