4 Days 3 Nights
Jeep/Bus Safari
On your 4-day safari, you will visit Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. The great herds of elephants and baobab trees will surprise you in Tarangire National Park. The endless plains of Serengeti are on your bucket list for wildlife viewing, giving you a chance to see the great wildebeest migration on the plains. Hippo, rhino, and buffalo are among the many crater residents in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Day 1: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast and a safari briefing in the morning, you head to the Tarangire National Park. Giant baobab trees, bush savannah and the seasonal marshes add to the wonder of this nature reserve. The park is considered one of the best places to view elephants up close. The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen now and then but cheetahs are rarely spotted.
From the open roof of the safari Jeep, you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals. In the late afternoon, you will leave the park and drive to the lodge where you will overnight.
Main Destination: Tarangire National Park
Day 2: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will head toward the Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA). Leaving the highlands behind, you will travel into the heart of wild Africa. You will arrive in time for a picnic lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight are at the camp.
Main Destination: Central Serengeti National Park
Day 3: Ngorongoro Highlands
After an early breakfast at the camp, you will head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a packed lunch and an en-route game drive in the park. You will have a stop at Olduvai Gorge (optional), which boasts a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here that the anthropologists, Drs. Louis and Mary Leakey, discovered the skulls of “Nutcracker Man” and “Handy Man”, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution.
You will arrive in time for leisure, dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.
Main Destination: Ngorongoro Highlands
Day 4: Crater tour
After enjoying breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a full-day crater tour with a picnic lunch.
Later, you will drive back to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your place of choice in Arusha or at Arusha Airport, marking the end of your African safari adventure.
Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater
